It's Saturday, May 11th, 2013 and the phone rings at 4:04pm. It's Mona Singh calling to connect as she drives over to the StartupDen for the first ever shoot of the web/TV show called The StartupDen.
By this time, I'm 2 parts adrenalin, 4 parts coffee and 3 parts chocolate chip cookies. Translation: I have the biggest goofiest grin on my intriguingly painted face as I drive to The Den for the shoot. Usually war paint free, I wonder why I don't mess around with makeup more, it definitely kicks up my face a few notches. As I walk in the Startup Den, Mona is already ringing the bell. A swoosh and a swish into a blue dress and its just time for Mike and the camera crew.
Guests walk in starting at 4:30pm and we begin shooting at 5pm. Three hours, multiple giggles and nervous laughter later, its all in the can.
We begin editing this week and hope to release in two weeks our very first show of The StartupDen!
